On May 28th, the promotion meeting of student’s going abroad was held in the second conference room of the office building. The international cooperation and exchange center and the heads of student affairs of each school attended the meeting. The conference was chaired by Deng Chunmei, deputy director of the international cooperation and exchange center.
Deng Chunmei first introduced the background, goals and tasks of the promotion project. The relevant personnel of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center introduced the overall goals of the students going abroad during the 13th Five-Year Plan, the construction of the model school and the quality school. They reviewed the overall situation of CMCC students going abroad since 2011, and detailed the short-term study, Exchange visits, volunteering services and paid internships to the United States in 2018. Subsequently, participants conducted a heated discussion and exchange on how to promote the work of going abroad for students.
The promotion meeting has received wide support from the secondary colleges. They have expressed their willingness to cooperate with the school to promote students' overseas projects and jointly promote the development of the school's internationalization.
